I'll miss the boredom and the freedom and the time spent alone

Please ignore my look of bewilderment/fear in that fifth photo, and as for that last shot-
I have no idea what it's of, but there's something about it that I like

Lately..
enjoying: cold coffee in the afternoon, quiet moments alone, my bedroom alight with flickering candles, day dreaming of an escape to somewhere wild and green, watching movies that remind me of my childhood, crystals and stone pendants that look like witchy treasures, breakfast for dinner, the couple hours of(& only)sleep I get in the morning, peppermint oil, capturing candid moments in a photograph, sunny days spent sketching new S.O.S. designs at the park, those rare moments free of stress or doubt when everything seems just how it's meant to be

not appreciating: feeling exposed and vulnerable, people who dwell on negatives and try to bring you down with them, another diagnosis of back problems (feeling like I have the body of an old man), film jamming in my camera, phonies and fakes, the taste of plain yogurt
(so pointless-vanilla all the way), useless arguments

The way I look at it, the good almost always out weighs the bad-and if you don't have a moment of frustration or sadness here and there, how would you appreciate those perfect moments of happiness anyways? I hope I can continue to be more patient and go through life with a positive and hopeful outlook, because everything seems to work out better that way. As a wise (wo)man once said, 'you get what you give in this that we live, and all that you do will come back to you'
..Vitamin C, oh yes. I just went there.

  3. This is such a lovely post, and I completey agree with you that the good usually does out weigh the bad, even when it doesn't seem so in moments of anger and frustration. I'm also trying to become more patient and have a positive outlook on life, even if that may prove to be difficult at times.
