Lots of photos from a beautiful day. My sister and I took the dogs for a walk and explored a lookout point, taking in the view and some fresh air before heading home. I was extremely lazy and just threw on a few random pieces that were already strewn around my room in a mid-morning daze (I wouldn't suggest doing this before the morning cup of coffee, results can be dangerous).

p.s. As stated a couple months back, I will be doing a give away soon now that I've reached 50 followers! That may not be a very high bar for most, but to me-each new follower & all feedback I receive really makes my day; to know that there are people out there who are interested in whatever randomness I have to say is exciting to say the least! So thank you all for your support, I hope that my blog continues to grow over the next year-and I can't wait to share all of my adventures, inspiration, and ups & downs with all of you.

Sunday morning is everyday for all I care

Photos from movie night with the siblingsss. Please ignore my strange and nonsensical photo editing skills, I get a little carried away with paint and I am in desperate need of Photoshop. We saw Burlesque and Morning Glory (to our poor brother's dismay, but what can you expect when you're outnumbered by girls three to one? haha) and went a little chocolate crazzyyy thanks to a pit stop at the new See's Candy store across the street from the theater. Both of the movies were great, and we were greeted by a fresh downpour of rain on the way home. I was lazy and dressed purely for comfort and warmth, which was a SUCCESS. I've kindaaa been living in my new grey maxi skirt, it reminds me of a comfy pair of sweat pants-but in skirt form...so awkwardly perfect!

fadeout

I dream of wandering through a towering city lost in layers of fluffy knits, watching people as they pass. Ice cold finger tips find salvation around a steaming paper cup of coffee, I wind around the bends in the road taking in each fallen leaf, each frost bitten curbside, each lonesome lover caught up in thought. My eyes follow the speeding cars racing through slick roads; their drivers in such a hurry to reach their destination they forget that they are moving too fast for time to keep up as precious moments of their life fall past, empty and wasted. I stumble upon a park, scattered with yearning souls wishing for something to ignite their passions-a love, an adventure, a miracle. Dreamers among bending trees and crackling branches, but looking past the beauty around them hoping for more. In a small & welcoming room, glowing golden and blanketed in warmth from the fireplace, I lay on my back. As my eyes follow the cracks and shapes in the ceiling above me, I drift to sleep calm and peaceful; taken away to another place and time.
