Gettin' cheesy with the web cam, a couple new lipsticks, and my new favorite choker I picked up at a local second hand store (I added the stone pendant myself-it originally had a jingle ball on it, yes a jingle ball..). Funny thing is I had been eyeing quite a few chokers online but all of them were either too expensive or not quite what I was looking for; and then a chance visit to a vintage/thrift shop I NEVER go to resulted in stumbling upon the perfect one. I actually found many treasures the day I found this 90's gem, can't wait to share them all!

Lights Drive My Soul: ICU in Paris

ICU in Paris is an amazing site (and blog here) that I've recently been introduced to. Not only do they have an amazing selection of unique jewelery and accessories available for purchase on their site, but they support up & coming designers who are trying to get their name & brand out there. (hint hint! great opportunity for you creative types out there looking for that extra boost) -and their blog is a continuous source of inspiration, not only in the area of jewelery and accesories, but fashion overall. As for the shopping, it's quite dangerous (and tempting) to view all the amazing pieces and one of a kind items they have at your disposal, I find myself browsing for unsaid ammounts of time and I'm torn over quite a few possible purchases at the moment, but don't take my word for it-

Oh Fall, how I love you so. Your cool crisp breeze onsetting the need for more and more cozy layers, and a color palette seemingly mimicking that of the earthy tones brought about by your presence...

  Lazy mornings filled with book reading, countless cups of coffee, bundling up in a plush blanket, and the quiet murmurs of music filling the air. Not to say these slow paced mornings aren't followed by the hustle and bustle of busy afternoons filled with too little time to get all the stuff you pushed back completed; but I rather enjoy the way things have gone over the past weeks. I like going to bed with so much to look forward to and plan for the day ahead. As far as reading goes, I finished The Girl She Used To Be in three days flat (it was a great story), and I just started The Crazy School last night (and am currently on page 219), it is such an engrossing and addictive page turner, I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a good read. Over the next week I'm looking forward to much work on the website, looking into a local sewing class with a close friend, another much anticipated trip to the library, and of course- the premiere of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, Desperate Housewives, and Dexter alllll in one jam-packed Sunday night...dreamy.

The Horses Are Coming So You Better Run

Okay, so am I the only person who gets giddy with excitement every time i see this trailer? Can't wait..

I got a little carried away and lazily made a silly collage inspired by the magnificent locations and beauty I've taken from the few previews and stills of the movie I've seen so far..warning you now-it's nothing special, but I'm dying over all the stone rings I stumbled upon on google images..

Told you it was silly, but I can't wait for the movie-and I love the song Dog Days Are Over by Florence & The Machine from the trailers, it's such a feel good song that you can't help singing along to. If you haven't read the book yet, I most definitely recommend it; kinda makes me want to take a spur of the moment trip around the world...if only. Til then, I'll keep dreaming!
